Paper Dolls!!!

A few days ago I made some paper dolls- I’ve made several paper doll collections before but I think these are the best ones so far!dsc04063-all-e1

Here is a picture of my paper doll Staci and all her clothes together. Paper dolls are not too hard to make; they take patience, and time, but if you have enough of both, then from there all you need is scissors, paper, colored pencils, and a pen! You have to make their clothes with tabs, so that they will stay on. It might be time-consuming but it is definitely worth it. Especially because the clothes will fall off if they don’t have tabs!

Here is Staci with her summery wardrobe on. She is wearing a nice yellow T-shirt and jean shorts, and is happy because it is summer! (And her clothes are great!)

Here Staci has her checkered school-ish uniform on! Her favorite subject is zoology, and she loves the cafeteria hot chocolate. See the little uniform tie on her checkered shirt! It’s so cute!

The skirt was hard to put on- It was a bit too short, so either her tummy showed or her pajama shorts showed! Finally I got it to fit.

Staci has some fancier outfits too. Here she has on a pink party dress with a sash, with a tiny jewel necklace.

There is a birthday party today! She loves parties, and occasionally holds them in her house for fun. Staci only holds a couple or so a year.

When it gets chilly outside, Staci takes out her fall clothes. She’s wearing a yellow cotton dress over a striped turtleneck sweater. It might seem a strange combo, but it really is quite cute. Now all she needs are some nice boots!

She loves raking the golden, orange, and red fall leaves into a big pile, and then taking a big JUMP right into the middle!

This dress is inspired by a fashion television show. Notice the fringe on the top of the orangey dress! She wears it to fancy occasions such as a dressy meeting or a really fancy party.

At night, after a shower and hot chocolate, she brushes her teeth, and then it’s time to put her nightgown on! It’s a pretty lavender color with a bit of lace at the bottom.

After she gets tucked in, she closes her eyes and drifts off into dreamland in her cozy nightgown.

Staci wears shorts and an undershirt under her soft and pretty nightgown- if a paper gown could be called soft!

Pajama party, anyone?

Here Staci is with several of her clothes. Cool clothes+ cute smile= awesomeness.

Paper dolls are awesome, and fun! I encourage you to make some, if you want to. It’s worth the time. Bye for now:) Keep your eyes open for a paper doll-making blog post!

This is me, with all of the 4 leaf clovers I have found since August 23rd. One day as we were coming home from church and a thought popped into my mind:  I wanted to find a 4 leaf clover. Now, 4 leaf clovers are very rare- there is only a 1 in 10,000 chance of finding 1! However, God isn’t limited by probability. About 30 seconds after I asked God for a 4 leaf clover, I found one! I was really happy. 😉 Since then, I have found more than 80 4 leaf clovers, and even more crazy… I prayed to God for a 5 leaf clover and I found a 6 leaf instead! Since then, I have found five 5 leaf clovers and one more 6 leaf clover! All in all, I have found about 100 clovers, and that’s not counting the ones I have given away.

All of this is to say that God can do abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine- that verse is Ephesians 3:20. God likes to give us the desires of our heart- even if it’s just a simple thing. So ask God for the desires of your heart- you won’t be disappointed. You may not get all the desires of your heart, but that’s just because God wants the very best for you. He’s a good, good God and He loves you very much, and He never wants you to be unhappy. He wants to have a relationship with you- and you can ask Him right now to be your friend!

When It Rains It Pours

When It Rains It Pours 1400

This is a watercolor painting of rain coming down. I made the drops of rain rainbow-colored. Most paintings or drawings are better in lots of color! I originally was going to draw cat and dog faces on the raindrops, but I liked them plain. Besides, they could represent a season of spiritual rain (Like a season of blessings)! Some droplets are nice and plump. (Like a fat juicy raisin!) I like the word “plump”!

Siggy and Nuvi

I am going to tell you about our two cats, Siggy Antonio Oroso Cinnamon Cream Puff Mischief and Tinuviel Shadowfax (their shortened names are Siggy and Nuvi)! Those really are their whole names. I’m not kidding! Siggy, our youngest cat, who is about 6, is a mischievous fuzzball who is both sweet and spicy! He is a creamy cinnamon color. He loves bathing in the warm sun and knocking over glasses of water. Siggy likes to knead blankets, too, like he’s being a baker and kneading bread. He is very funny. He plays fetch with earplugs sometimes! Since writing this, Nuvi has passed on. But let me tell you how she was when she was alive. Nuvi liked sleeping. And eating. And more sleeping. The only times she was active is when she was walking over to her food bowl, or ambling up the stairs to sleep in Mama and Daddy’s bed, and every so often fighting with Siggy. I had sometimes played with her with a piece of string, but she didn’t get any less plump. She was a heather grey color, and acted like a grumpy bump on a log, although was inwardly sweet.
